Q: 1. Could this be used as a carry on case for a flight?

A: Yes, you can use it as a carry on. I brought it on a flight to the Philippines just fine. Some airlines will have a weight restrictions, but they let me carry it on because they didn't want to be held liable for any damages. I was able to fit a 5d mkiii, 16-35, 24-70, 100L macro, 70-200 and a couple 600 RT flashes and room to spare for 3 batteries and a trigger. Very heavy lol.

A: Yes, the HPRC Wheeled Hard Case (Black with Blue Handle) has four hasps to attach up to four locks and or chains.

A: This case includes custom cut foam for the Sony FX6

Q: 6. Will the internal cases fit two, Sachtler Flowtech 75 tripods with a heads attached?

A: Not that we are aware of. This would not be a good choice for holding a pair of larger tripods like that.

Q: 7. What's Second Skin?

A: The Second Skin is a semi-rigid removable insert made from a thermoforming material, allowing you to increase the maximum internal volume of the case while maintaining optimal protection. It increases the internal usable volume by 20% and weighs 70% less than the soft dock. The adjustable dividers let you create different configurations according to your needs.

Q: 8. Can this case fit 3 manfrotto tripods 35 inches x 4inches wide? It doesnt seem very deep in width, what are the exact measurements?

A: I fit my 3 stackable manfrotto 12' stands in there with a make shift liner I created from a soft bag, as well as 3 umbrellas and a tripod... there is a decent amount of room.

Q: 9. Is this case acceptable for travelling internationally? Airline got 50lbs baggage check-in limit.

A: Regarding the 50 lb limit, it depends on what you put in it - the case is not very heavy, but it is very strong. The one thing to watch out for, is the combined length limit that each airline has (length + width + height) - you should double check that.

Q: 10. The dimensions indicate this could be accepted as a carry-on for flights. Has anyone had experience doing this?

A: The HPRC 2550W Wheeled Hard Case for Sony FX6 Camera does have dimensions close to carry on luggage sizes and is ATA 300 approved for airline travel. It is recommended to check with your airline for approved carry on luggage sizes before travel.
