This is just the cats meow. The other one is too big to use in your lap while chilling on the couch or in a cafe... this is a perfect size for having a comfortable drawing session.

And of course comes with all the accoutrements of any other illustration pad. Perfect pen pressure, etc.

My first tablet was a wacom bamboo , ever since I really wanted one with a display bitcouldn't afford one cause they are really expensive. Until this one came with an affordable price. I am so happy to have this.

Though not a touch screen but still gets the job done. A very good display size, not too big and not too small. Resolution is great. And I am really enjoying using this with adobe photoshop.

My first two tablets were Wacom Intuos and Intuos 2s back in the 00s. Both still work. I got out of drawing for awhile and used some other brands. Wacom is still my preferred maker. The texturing on the screen is great and feels much closer to paper. The color is great, and the screen is treated in a way that it's easier to look at over time than other display tablets. The tablet is light and easy to set up, with the stand built into the back. The price point is also excellent for students or hobbyists like myself who can't quite justify $1500 for their equipment. Much more pleased with this product than I expected to be. The only thing I wish it came with was a pen stand, but it is designed to be portable and instead has a strap for the pen on this side -- I keep mine in my desk's pencil holder.

No issues with refurbished, and have bought refurbished Wacom before.

I honestly was surprised when I saw how cheap this was when comparing it to other tablets. I bought it as a gift for my wife and she has been loving it.

For my illustration and animation work I considered various Wacom models. Almost decided on the more expensive Pro version but in the end very happy to have picked this one.


1) I've found the relatively low resolution of 1920x1080 no obstacle at all.
2) The lack of touch input or side buttons works great for my purposes, as I don't end up accidentally moving, scaling or selecting things (which I do a lot of on my other work computer, the Surface Book)
2) The built in VESA mount allowed me to attach it directly to an ergotron arm without additional costs of brackets. This has been a major upgrade in ergonomics for me.
3) The refurbished model looks and performs as new, while providing a decent discount to an already fair price.
4) The screen color is surprisingly good, considering its lower specs.

I have an iPad Pro, but wanted something with a bigger drawing size that worked with my MacBook Pro. I tried another brand pen display and was disappointed, but Wacom released this one about a week later. Drawing on the Cintiq 16 feels natural and the 1080p resolution feels fine on the 15.6 screen. Theres a film attached that provides a paper like texture without compromising the image much.

I thought Id need a stand for it, but the built-in legs work fine for me on my desk.

If its your first Cintiq or youre wanting something inexpensive, I recommend this one for sure.

Love my Cintiq 16. I have paired it with my MacBook Pro. I paired it with a Hyper Drive adapter with an HDMI port. The pen glides smooth, an comfortable to use. Ready to expand my digital drawing knowledge.
Only negative I have about the tablet is the brightness and color gamut. But I’m beginning tablet user. I will step up when it’s time, if i choose to continue digital drawing.

Awesome easy to use tool. so simple so nice to draw on you screen.

Tool works just as designed, I just need to spend more time learning my new workflow!
