The green Grenade Rubber Dust Blower Ball from Amzer is used to clean dust and debris off lenses, LCD screens, filters, glasses, and other optical equipment that needs continual cleaning and maintenance. The grenade-shaped silicone blower has a built-in valve that only lets clean air in, so dust is not reapplied to the surface of what you are cleaning. After squeezing the elastic body of the blower, it restores itself to its original shape, and the flat bottom of the blower ensures it stays upright on a flat surface and does not roll away.

A: Nitecore does not make any safety claims with the Nitecore BB2 Rechargeable Cleaning Blower for Cameras & Electronics. Though for cleaning sensors one should use this in Optical mode.

A: In most regards the Nitecore BB2 Rechargeable Cleaning Blower for Cameras & Electronics and the Nitecore BB21 Rechargeable Air Duster (B&H # NIBB21) are very similar dusters. The newer BB21 has a newly designed dual-button interface that makes it easier to use, and it has a lock mode. Additionally, only the BB2 includes a high-CRI LED light.

A: Yes. The skin will allow you to attach a grip to the camera unit.

A: Unfortunately no one makes a silicone skin for the Mark 6 or Mark 7 versions currently.

A: Yes, with the proper know how the cells can be swapped. BH does not sell replacements but the following model is needed bb2-lbp.

The other day I noticed a large dust spot showing up on photos taken of our new employees with my 40D. I tried to clear it by selecting the 'manual cleaning' option in the menu for the ultrasonic cleaner, no joy. The thought of monkeying around with the sensor was horrifying to me, but the prospect of being seperated from $100 or so for a professional cleaning was just a little worse, so... I did my homework with regards to technique (hold camera with open front pointing down, etc.) and used the Q-Ball. It worked like a charm, first time. Money well spent. 5

This is one powerfull blower! I purchased this to clean dust off my telescope lenses/ filters to minimize using liquid cleaners (physical contact). The only fault I have is they should provide a cap for the nozzle. 5

This is similar to the big rocket one which pushes more air. Only great thing about this one is the flip almost flat top. Easier to put this in a backpack or camera bag unlike the large rocket. More for traveling not as good for home use. 5

The Q-Ball works great for anyone who needs to remove dust from their slides before scanning. Often times I use a light slide brush to remove any particles that might be stuck, then a half dozen or so sprays of air from the Q-Ball to remove all the dust particles. The result is a good clean scan that means less time dusting in PS. I can't recommend the usage of this product for anything else because this is all I use it for. * 5

I enjoy the ability to direct the air through an adjustable nozzle. It is slightly easier to operate in the field than the big Rocket or the little Rocket. Does a fine job and just feels more ergonomically friendly. 5

It does what it is suppose to. I use it to blow out my camera. The ability to adjust the angle of the tip is nice. The only problem is that it might be hard for some one with small hands to use. 5
