Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. In what light can I use it? Reflector? Could you advise me?

A: These gels are small sheets, slightly smaller than a sheet of office paper. They are not intended for large and powerful lights, which require a roll of gel rather than a sheet. These are best used on lights with a suitably small lens/aperture, such as a small LED panel or a fresnel like the Arri 650 or lower. If you are using hot lights, keep them a few inches away or the heat will melt them. They are fantastic for coloring smaller LED lights.

Q: 2. IF I JUST DO PHOTOSHOP WITH 50 MEGABYTE RAW FILES, WILL THE 24 INCH I MAC WITH 16 MB OF RAW BE ADEQUATE?

A: This would be dependent on many factors such as what will be done to the RAW 50 Megabyte files. How many will be edited at a time? The Apple Mac Studio with M1 Max (Early 2022) might be better suited for this task.

Q: 3. Can I increase the Hard Drive capacity on this imac?

A: The hard drive is not user upgradable, we do offer this iMac with different storage capacity

Q: 4. Can i use this in front of broncolor siros lights with broncolor's reflector in front? If yes, then how can i attach it?

A: The easiest way of attaching these Lee Filters to a Broncolor reflector is with the C-47 Production Clips (Matte Black, 24-Pack), BH #C41C47, leaving airspace between the two. https://bhpho.to/3rpGmBj

Q: 5. On Apple.com, it mentions that the new iMAC is configurable with Ethernet. But doesn't say how or what adapter would be needed? So how do you connect to Ethernet?

A: As of the writing of this post, built in ethernet is not yet configurable on our site, and would require a USB-C ethernet adapter to receive network over ethernet.

Q: 6. Can this filter be used on a regular speedlight or is it only for strobes?

A: Sure! These high-quality acetate sheets can easily be cut down to fit any size required. You can simply rubberband a piece around the head of your speedlight or cut it for use inside a fitted plastic diffuser. Easy-peasy!

Q: 7. What is height from base of stand to bottom of monitor, what is height of metal strip at bottom of monitor, and what is height of white space at bottom of screen?

A: I am sorry, the manufacturer does not specify these dimensions in specifics. You can find the overall dimensions here 21.5 x 18.1 x 5.8"

Q: 8. So I recently purchased these gels to cut out and use with the filter tray on the Aputure barndoors. Upon turning my 300d mkii up to 100%, it burned right through the center. Should I just be clipping these onto this light? Or are there other filter alternatives that can go in those trays?

A: It would be best to clip the gels to the barndoor leaves in order to allow for more air space.

Q: 9. would this work on aputure 120d ii? would it melt away or will stay fine

A: These gels can be used on an Aputure C120D II. While LED lights produce much less height, it is always a good idea to attach the gels with a bit of air space between them and the light.

Q: 10. What are the 17 gel colors in this pack?

A: The gels included with this kit are the following, which can also be seen to the right of the product overview:Congo Blue (#181)2 x Half C.T. Blue (# 202)2 x Full C.T.
