This box is huge. The quality is exactly what you would expect from Pelican. I have a number of these boxes that I use for equipment transport and other storage; they all preform flawlessly. Durable construction, water tight, large heavy duty latches, good foam padding inside, nice large handles (even one on the bottom of the 1730 so that two people can lift the box when loaded). They are bombproof. If you can get past the sticker shock, there is no reason not to buy this. 5

I use this product to store my Celestron NexStar 127SLT Computerized Telescope, it fits perfectly in 3 main parts, OTA, fork and tripod, plus all eyepieces, and extra accessories I bought for it, truly an excellent way to keep it protected and transport it to any location for star gazing. 5

I bought this case to more easily transport my 27 iMac. It fits perfectly, with room for extra goodies, and it's actually very easy to load up and move. 5

This case is built like a rock and much bigger than I expected. Extremely strong construction and is a little heavy even empty, however it does have roller wheels that make it easy to transport. Latches are strong and foam interior is easily adjustable. Great product! 5

We transported some monitors for a merchandise table across the country in a tour bus. This withstands repeated loading and unloading, packing and unpacking. It traveled very well when taken on an airplane as checked baggage. Really worth the price. 5
