The BE-117 Ball Head from Oben is a lightweight aluminum ball head with a load capacity of 17.6 lb, a large locking knob to control the movement of the ball, and a separate knob for the 360° panning movement. The individual knobs enable higher-precision adjustments to the head than are possible with single-lever heads. Taking panoramic photos is simple thanks to the panoramic scale at the base of the head. A notch in the ball head allows orientation to quickly change between portrait and landscape.

The included Arca-type quick release plate attaches to any camera and is secured in place with the receiver's locking knob, simply and reliably.
