Transmit video and control signaling in a data center, conference room, or classroom with this 4K HDMI 2.0 over HDBaseT Tx/Rx Video Extender Kit from AVPro Edge. This transmitter and receiver pair can transmit up to DCI 4K60 video and embedded audio up to 330'. The units are slim and compact so they can fit into any media setup. Using Invisible Compression Technology (ICT), the extenders transmit up to 18 GB/s, retaining HDR metadata, up to 12-bit 4:4:4 color, and prevents color shifts and banding.

The transmitter features one HDMI 2.0 input, one HDMI 2.0 loop output, two USB Type-A and one USB Type-B input for KVM capabilities. The HDBaseT output connects a Cat 6a cable to transmit the video with embedded audio as well as serial signaling. It also features a 3-pin RS-232 terminal block, an optical TOSLINK output for extracted audio, and dual Ethernet ports. It also features 3.5mm IR input and outputs for IR pass-through.

The receiver features one HDMI 2.0 output, two USB Type-A ports, and one USB Type-B host output for KVM capabilities. The HDBaseT input connects a Cat 6a cable to receive the video from the transmitter with embedded audio as well as TOSLINK audio signals. It also features a 3-pin RS-232 serial terminal block, an optical Toslink audio return input, and dual Ethernet ports. It also features 3.5mm IR input and outputs for IR pass-through.

Embedded audio support includes transport of uncompressed two-channel PCM, LPCM 5.1 & 7.1, Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD-Master Audio, and Dolby Atmos audio. The system supports ESD protection up to 7KV, and it features a 3-20V protection circuit to safely transport IR signals.

Only one power supply is included since the units support 48V power-over-HDBaseT (PoH), allowing one unit to be powered by the other, saving valuable outlet space. Also included with the kit are Tx and Rx IR cables, four 3-pin terminal blocks for the RS-232 ports, and rack ears for mounting.

I truly enjoy this light. I own two of them. The versatility of charging and using while charging is awesome.

This is a great light, especially for the price! I mainly bought it for portability for shooting offsite where I can't plug in any lights. I use it as an off-cam light and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The build quality is pretty decent too. Feels pretty solid overall. I most likely will be buying 1 or 2 more in the near future.

I do night sky photography that requires 20 second exposures. To light the foreground subject and still use 20 sec exposures I use three Vidpro LED lights. 2 model 330-X units and one model 312 light. All have color temperature selection and adjustable illumination. They can be mounted on tripods or light stands. The barn doors on the 330-X units allow you to control the area desired.

The build on this light isn't anything heavy duty, but it's still got a nice solid feel to it. It just feels right. It's a little larger than your average on-camera light, which to me is a good thing since I use it more on a light stand as a portable light. It's very lightweight too for it's size. And on top of all this, it's very bright and the dimming and variable color do very well in controlling your output. I WILL definitely be buying another one, maybe even two.
