The aluminum and stainless steel rod holder attaches to the cage bottom with the included mounting screw, and a hex screw is used to tighten the holder around the rod.

A: It's a 1/4 20" screw so it should work, but it is especially designed for the Tilta cages.

Q: 8. Hi. I ordered this product hoping it would fit in my SmallRig 2203 Full Cage for BMPCC 4K. Well, it didn't. So, my question is: Can you recommend a screw or such thing to fit the Hood in my CAGE?

A: Tilta and SmallRig are arch competitors and they do not wish to play nice. That is why there is no known way to adapt your Tilta sunshade to a SmallRig. If you are a DIY kind of person, perhaps you can get aluminium stock and cut and drill something that works. Otherwise, we suggest that you get SmallRig's sunshade. Got this for the 6K and it's machined very well. The cage doesn't feel like it puts any pressure on the camera and the numerous mounting holes make it very easy to mount a monitor, mic, and other peripherals. The only con for me was the SSD holder which requires you to screw the SSD holder into the USB-C cable. This is kind of annoying since it requires a small screwdriver to unplug your SSD. Questionable design choice but it is secure so...shrug...it works. 5

I ordered this to go with my Tilta full cage for my BMPCC6K. the design and build quality are great. I really like that you can mount a Samsung SSD to the top of it (with Tilta SSD Mount). The hood definitely helps see the very dim BMPCC screen better. 5
