Great for portable studio set up. I used two porcelain sockets with adjustable umbrella mounts, two impact umbrellas, two impact light stands. All products were very sturdy and easy to move around.

Just what I needed.I wanted to add more light to my light box.Now I have lots of light in front to cover the small wood carvings I do.Plus it will be great for working on my old car.You can't go wrong,And yes I put a 125 w LED in it ,no problem to put it in.

I was please with this reflector. A 500W bulb does extend beyond the edge but I use it with an umbrella so it isn't a problem for me. Its built better than cheap one you get at hardware store.

Purchased this along with another set of 2. Very happy with the floodlight kits. They are easy to set up and solid enough to last several years. The price was right within my budget.

I needed bright shadow free lighting to give me even lighting in my cabinet making shop so a couple weeks ago I was given a kit that included 2 of these lights along with light stands and umbrellas as a gift which was also purchased from B&H. Both that (and later this order) arrived extremely quickly. I liked it so much that I decided to buy this set so I can do a 3 point lighting system for video work and certain still photography situations (Most animals find strobe lights deeply... unsettling.) I already have several light stands and umbrellas that I use with strobes and on camera flashes so all I needed really was the lamp holder and reflector and this kit fits that need perfectly. I have used these with 250w tungsten bulbs so far and those work well although I’ll probably buy a few 500w tungsten bulbs for the key light. For use as a work light they work extremely well. However, they do get hot so definitely don’t turn them on nearby when using solvents, or other highly flammable chemicals and check for sawdust frequently if using it in a workshop.

So far, it seems to be very high quality and incredible value.

I bought two to re-supply my original kit (purchased in 2006; two socket switches recently burned out). These are workhorses if you use the older bulbs, and the newer hardware appears to be more substantially made. They are compatible with my older 12 reflectors and narrow-scoop reflector. I may buy 2 more as backup.

This product works well and seems to be well made. I'll be using it for video work, and when combined with light stands already in my studio, it's just what I needed.

This light stand is easy to use and seems to be well made. I am satisfied with all aspects of the product for the price. The product does exactly what it is advertised to do with no disappointing surprises.
