Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How many paired devices does it remember?

A: The Galaxy Audio JIB/BT8R Bluetooth Audio Receiver would not remember any paired devices. If you are using a source with a Bluetooth transmitter built in, like a smartphone or tablet, it will have the ability to remember the Galaxy Audio JIB/BT8R Bluetooth Audio Receiver so that you can select it and pair it.

Q: 2. Do I need a splitter to convert one microphone input into a two microphone amplifier input?

A: Yes, you would need a splitter like this, just make sure you have enough mic cables (3) to make all the connections.

Q: 3. Could you let me know the HS-Code for this product?

A: We do not have this code. Please contact the manufacturer directly.

Q: 4. Does this also work to split the line level connection coming from a sound board so I can feed two cameras?

A: The manufacturer of the JIB/Y, Galaxy Audio, does not recommend it be used to split a line level signal. Alternatively, you may consider the Whirlwind LBS; B&H# WHLBS.

Q: 5. Does it make any sound when pairing?

A: No, unfortunately the Aluratek AISM01F Bluetooth Audio Receiver would use it's LED to notify if pairing or connected.

Q: 6. will it function while charging?

A: Yes, the Aluratek AISM01F Bluetooth Audio Receiver will function while charging.

Q: 7. If I plug a phantom power mic into the input and the mic is receiving phantom power from a pre-amp on the other side of the unit through output 1, will the signal of output 2 be the same level as output one? In other words, both outputs would be outputting an identical line level as the mic is already getting its power from output one? Thank you.

A: It may be marginally quieter on each than it would be w/o the splitter, but a phantom powered pre-amp is still only outputting mic level, not line level. Works for me w/ 300' on the out #2 to a production truck.

Q: 8. Does the signal come out in stereo?

A: Signal doesn't come out in stereo. XLRs are commonly use as a mono signal of one source. This is only to split that one signal into two without dropping much on quality.

Q: 9. Is the impedance constant on the input side as you add more headphones/speakers to the outputs, or does the input need to be increased as more peripherals are added?

A: I bought two of these boxes to add additional two-channel outputs for connecting three digital recorders simultaneously from my mixer's main mix outputs. After connecting everything, I did not add additional input gain to the splitter boxes, but I did note that the three digital recorders required slightly higher recording levels than they did in their standalone configuration. Hope this helps!

Q: 10. I need to split my soundcard's main output (2 balanced 1/4'' - L & R) to 4 speakers. Can I use a 'Y' cable to hook a stereo 1/4'' into the input and use the JIBS 4 outputs to each speaker? I'll lose the balanced connection with the Y cable, though.

A: Dear all,We are interesting this products for 8 pcs. Please advise the stock status. Is this have stock available?BR,Shake
