A: The Stroboframe Quick Flip 350 Bracket is 9.5 inches. The camera can not be any taller than 9.5 inches to fit in the bracket.

A: The position of the lower 1/4-20 screw (standard tripod thread) is adjustable; for a very large camera it can be moved to the left. There has to be a way for the camera to operate a remote flash. I and Brian L use a hot shoe flash cable . I bought one from B&H. The flash may be mounted to the bracket via the included accessory shoe mount or via the 1/4-20 screw on top that holds that mount.

A: There are three orange gels included in the set but they are not accurate CTO gels. I tested them with a color temperature meter and compared the readings with Rosco gels I have for my studio lights and I found them to be considerably warmer than even the Full CTO Rosco gels. For true color accuracy, I would recommend not using the included gels just cut down some Rosco (or other brand) color correction gels.

Q: 7. Can I use this bracket to mount 1 microphone and 1 camcorder on a tripod such that the camcorder points straight ahead and the microphone points 40 degree away from the direction of the camcorder ?

A: The top mount is movable. Or you could angle the camera 40 off the camcorder.

A: The Century Precision Optics 0.7x Wide Angle Converter Lens for Sony HDR-FX1 has a bayonet mount. I am unable to find any adapter ring that will enable you to to do that convert that mount to a screw in.Outside of one or two times with small format zooms and close up filters, I have never seen conversion lenses used for cine lenses. What you might consider then is selling your Wide Angle Converter and get an additional lens.

Q: 10. Is the silver one supposed to be used as a reflector? Like the white card on the flash?

A: The silver reflector included with the Vello EZ-Flip Gel Set is used like the white card on many flashes when using bounce flash.
