The Tilta 95mm Lens Attachment Ring for MB-T04 and MB-T06 mounts onto the rubber donut (not included) that fits into the matte box and enables a snug fit for your lens, which prevents light from leaking around the back of the lens and flaring any filters in the matte box. This ring is not suitable for use as a clamp-on ring.

A: The reason the Tilta TSP-023 (Nun's Knickers) work on the MB-T03 and MB-T05 matte box is because those matte boxes have a lip that catches the elastic band. The Tilta MB-T12 does not have this lip. Therefore, there is not an effective way to attach it to the matte box.

Q: 3. Is this flag compatible with other company matte boxes? Bright tangerine?

A: Not that we are aware of. This flag is only for the Tilta MB-T05.

Q: 4. metal frame or just all plastic now?

A: At this time Nikon does not list the frame material on the Nikon MB-N12 Power Battery Pack.

Q: 5. What is the maximum opening on the matte box side? I would like to use this with the RedRock Micro Mattebox

A: While it comes with a 134 mm lens adapter installed, 114, 110, 95, and 85mm adapters are also included in the box for fitting different size lens diameters.

Q: 7. Will this also work with the MB-T03?

A: No it will not.

Q: 8. Does it charge the two batteries simultaneously or does one battery starts to charge after the other is fully charged?

A: At this time Nikon does not list the order the batteries are charged in the Nikon MB-N12 Power Battery Pack.

A: No, the Tilta 80mm Clamp-On Adapter for MB-T12 Matte Box will not fit 82mm lenses.

Q: 10. What's the distance between the attatchment slots? I want to see if this will fit on an Arri MMB2. The Arri top flag is too wide.

A: This is a top flag for a Tilta MB-T12 Matte Box only. We are not aware of it being able to work with any other Matte Box brands.
