Much better than the stock earpads that came with my Audio Technica ATHM30 headphones. Very tight during installation but be careful and they will finally slip on. Once installed they are wonderful.

I've owned my Sony MDR-7506s for six or seven years. I wore out the stock earpads and bought a second set from B&H a few years ago. The problem with the wearing of the standard ear pads is that they flake off these little black specks that get in your ears and tickle like a beast when your wife tries to pick them out. No more! These deluxe earpads are much more comfortable than what I had before, more firm, and will not leave me with little specks all over my ears. I can easily wear these for a full day of work, or a long day 10 hours without discomfort.

I find these much more comfortable them the original sony earpads, and they appear much more durable then the originals, only time will tell on that one tho.

I bought these ear pads to upgrade over my existing Sony MDR-CD900ST ear pads, which were not comfortable for longer listening sessions. The deluxe ear pads by Pearstone are velour and feel much more comfortable when listening for over a 30min period, where with the originals my ears would start to get sweaty. Also, these happened to help decrease ambient noise. I recommend these pads and would buy again.

I installed these on my Sony MDR-7509HD headphones. Although not designed for this model, it will work with some effort. It is a bit slow and definately requires two hands in total focus = place, pull, stretch = repeat until its on... then do the 2nd one. The results are better than the original fake leather earpads that came on the MDR-7509HD.I can detect no adverse sonic qualities with these earpads. After 2 weeks I am very pleased. Let's see if it makes it through a year!

the perfect upgrade or replacement for the stock Sony MDR-V6 earpads.

These fit snuggly on my Sony MDR-V6 headphones. Maybe a little overpriced as they probably cost about 50 cents to make. But it was a great alternative to spending $100 on new headphones.

Seem to perform better then original in terms of comfort and isolation, look good and were easy to install.

These earpads are much better than the stock units on the Sony 7506. I should have gotten them at the same time I bought the phones. Highly recommended.

I installed a set of Pearstone velour earpads on my Sony MDR V6 headphones and am completely satisfied with the results. They are significantly more comfortable then the original Sony plastic pads, and do at least as well at sealing out ambient noise. They take a little patience to install since the internal band is pretty tight, but once on, they stay-put. The velour looks like it will hold up better than the very thin imitation leather that the Sony's were originally equipped with (which only lasted a few years before developing cracks and flaking off). All in all, a very inexpensive way to prolong the life of some old phones.
