A: Unfortunately this Weaver Top Mount Base - #92A is made for Rossi .410/.22 LR & .410/.17 HMR. It will not fit the Rossi RH 44 Mag.

A: You will have to replace the safety with a low scope safety. Then you can use low to medium scope rings. If you use the safety it has you would need high rings and the scope will be to high to use properly.

A: You'll need to take the Marlin 80 to a gunsmith for tapping if you use a top mounted scope (and then the #12 is what's listed on the chart). The rear holes you mention were for an optional factory installed rear peep sight. Alternatively, you can use the side mounted base (Weaver #2), reportedly without needing to visit the gunsmith, though I can't confirm that.

Q: 4. Is the weight of the assembled 6x8 Ft. frame really 6.6 lbs? Isn't it too flimsy to not buckle if the wind blows? And can it be extended by a boom handle attached to only one side of it?
