One would first need an adapter like the Novagrade T-Mount Digiscoping Adapter on the spotting scope, BH #NOUA00T101 (https://bhpho.to/3cGBB1w). With both these adapters one can mount the Z-mount camera to the spotting scope.

This is a camera-specific hollow adapter that acts like a dummy lens - RF mount on one end and threads on the other (the T-Mount). If you want to take photos through a spotting scope and don't want to use camera lens, get this adapter AND another adapter that mounts on the eyepiece of the spotting scope on one end (mechanical, compression fit connection) and has T-Mount threads on the other end. Then, put this adapter on your camera as you would any lens and screw the two adapters together at the respective T-Mounts. You end up with a single RF-to-eyepiece adapter that consists of two separate items screwed together at the T-Mount. Finally, don't forget to enable shutter release without a lens since this adapter is not recognized by the camera as a lens. 5

Agreed with earlier review. It doesn't just work with telescope adapters but also with vintage T-mount lens. Tip: If your body is in manual focus and the lens shows a good image, but the shutter button will not work, check your custom settings for Shutter release without lens, or similar, and enable it. This is because this adapter has no electronics - which makes sense with a T-mount. It is precision engineered mechanical adapter that works. Handles comfortably. Great value. I have a Spiratone Dupliscope slide copier that I can now use with my Canon EOS-R. Also verified with a vintage Spiratone mirror lens (500mm) and with its Spiratone 2x adapter. 5
