The Ambient Recording HBYA7-TA3F-35W is a mixer-to-camera inverse breakout Y-cable.

The cable is terminated with a 7-pin XLR male connector at one end and two 3-pin TA3 female connectors along with one 3.5mm TRS right-angle return connector (on coiled cord) at the other.

Straight to the point, if you’re using dua Rode mic set up with 1 camera body then you need this. I wouldn’t use any other brand of splitter with rode mics 5

This splitter is working great. I have used the XLR to 3.5 jack on my camera in the past. Now I leave my XLR adapters in both channels on my Canon XF-400 and XF605 on my camera and use these. Easier to connect and disconnect. Also gives me two channels for my Rode Go II wireless mic. 5

Using for two mic setup in my DSLR wireless Go + micro. This is perfect length not too long or short and has semi rigid wires to keep it from moving around. Color coordinated L R is good touch. 5
