See objects, animals, or persons in the dark, determine how far away they are, take (and stream) video, and even send ballistic info to your compatible riflescope with the BinoX 4T 384 1.25-5x Thermal Binocular with Laser Rangefinder. This versatile optic "sees" heat signatures through darkness, dust, or fog and shows them on a 1280 x 720 display in each eyepiece, with a choice of black hot, white hot, or color modes. Maximum detection range is 750 yards, recognition range is 335 yards, and identification range is 225 yards.

A built-in infrared illuminator can help friends or team members with standard night vision gear. The built-in laser rangefinder measures distance from 5 to 1000 yards with 1-yard accuracy, and the BinoX-4T can send range information via Bluetooth to a compatible ATN SMART HD riflescope to determine point of impact with no need for a holdover.

The BinoX 4T can capture still images or 1280 x 960 video at 60 fps and saves them to a user-supplied microSD card (4 to 64GB). You can stream video—at the same time you record it—over Wi-Fi to an iOS or Android device running the ATN Obsidian 4 app. On your device, you can save, view, and share your content.

Runtime is 16 hours on a fresh charge; charge time with a user-supplied 2A adapter is 6 hours, using the included USB Type-C cable. Its housing is weather resistant.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this have a focusable objective lens?

A: The AGM ASP TM35-384 Thermal Imaging Monocular (50 Hz) BH #AGASPTM35384 • MFR #3093451006AS31 has a focusing adjustment.

Q: 2. The 'bionic' portion of this unit, would it be comparable most to the Monarch 5, 6 or 7 models?

A: More or less yes. It is configured with the popular combination of 10x magnification and 42mm objectives. But it is first a rangefinder.

Q: 3. How does the GEN II model differ from the Fury HD GEN I model?

A: The original Vortex 10x42 Fury HD Laser Rangefinder Binocular had a Laser Rangefinder range of 1,600 feet. Generation II has a range of 5,000 feet.

Q: 4. How to know year of production of binox4k

A: These always sell out, so they are a current year manufacture.

Q: 5. Are these waterproof?

A: There is no information on Kahles website that indicates it is waterproof

Q: 6. Considering the 8x42 configuration and price, does this binocular share the same optics as the NL Pure?

A: The Swarovski 8x42 EL Range TA Laser Rangefinder Binocular with Tracking Assistant (Green) share the same optics and the older EL Range binoculars. They are not the NL Pure optics.

Q: 7. Is any part of the zoom range optical, or is it all digital?

A: No optical zoom.

Q: 8. Can the rangefinder be used if window glass is interposed between the rangefinder and the target object?

A: I have now purchased this binocular/rangefinder and have had the opportunity to do some limited testing. The rangefinder function works reliably and well on targets in the 100-300 yard range with single or multiple sheets of glass interposed between the rangefinder and the target. The glass can be clean or moderately dirty without affecting the function. I haven’t tried long range targets yet but have no reason to believe they wouldn’t work as well as short range targets.

Q: 9. What is the ranging speed on the Vortex Fury 5000 HD?

A: Target speed is not a feature of this device. Maybe this is what you meant ? This is from page 14 of the manual. LOS Mode The LOS (Line of Sight) mode is intended for rifle shooters who are using slope correcting ballistic drop data cards, ballistic cell phone applications, or other devices with ballistic programs and who are shooting at distances beyond 500 yards and with slopes greater than 15 degree.

Q: 10. What is warranty? Where is manufacturer located?

A: Included is a Limited 90-Day USA Warranty, Extendable to Limited 1-Year Warranty with Registration. The manufacturer is located in Arkansas, USA.
