A: This lens is a menual focus lens. If your camera has the MF and AF switch you may have to tourn on the right switch (MF) to Make it work. I have a Sony a6000 which has no problem at all. In fact I just came back from long trip using this lens, the pictures are very sharp and beautiful.

A: This 12th lens is the best compromise for a wide angle with minimal to no discernable curvature. It works great for buildings and landscape photography. This is a great lens, bang for the buck I think it has no equal. In fact, I am using this lens on vacation right now. I use this lens on a Sony a6000 e-mount. Just keep in mind that this is a manual focus. It is very easy to use though.
