A: The 055 xpro b is a Manfrotto tripod. What you need is a Manfrotto MH057M0-Q5 Magnesium Ball Head with Q5 Quick Release Kit which is what I use on my 055 xpro b tripods. I have several of the 501PL Sliding quick release plates and prefer them over anything else.

I use this will almost every thing i shot im a professional photographer and with out the quick flip 350 you would have a ugly shadow on any vertical pictures. 5

The first advantage is that when shooting vertically, the flash is not out at the side, casting shadows. The second is that just having the flash a few inches furthur off the camera also helps reduce glare and red-eye. 5
