    Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can water pipes can be placed through the knock outs?

A: The knockouts are 1.25", 1", and 0.5" conduits. As long as your pipes can fit, it should work.

Q: 2. does this come with screws to attach monitor?

A: Yes, the Premier Mounts PRC-LA Suspension Mount for Flat-Panel Displays (Lower Assembly), B&H # PRPRCLA, includes mounting hardware.

Q: 3. What country manufactures this item?

A: The Custom Brackets Folding-T Flash Bracket is made in the US.

Q: 4. Each preview image displays a different item. Does the actual item for sale have the two additional holes allowing for a 90º pivot? Thanks

A: According to the Peerless-AV literature this mount does have the two holes for 90 degree pivot: https://docs.peerless-av.com/BOOK8.5X11IN-120-9142-1-4-1.PDF

    Q: 5. will this bracket work with Nikon d750 & d7200 cameras?

A: Yes. The bracket screws into a standard tripod socket on any brand camera, and any flash will slide into the standard hot shoe. You will need a Nikon connector to communicate between the flash and the hot shoe on your camera body. I bought a Vello, which is much less expensive than a Canon or Nikon. It works just fine.

    Q: 6. How do I attach the flash? I don't see a cold shoe?

A: Custom Brackets Folding-T Flash Bracket BH #CUFTB has a cold shoe at the top and It holds a flash 11" (28cm) above the lens. You can check the last product photo that shows how it will work.

Q: 7. From the Q&A I understand that the Canon 5D Mkiii with the battery grip will work with this bracket. What is the lens to flash distance with this combo?

A: I have a D750 with grip on the bracket. No problem for the Canon. I'm sure. Not familiar enough with your equipment to give you specific measurements, BUT... If you are trying to eliminate red eye, some shadows and gain off camera versatility, then you have purchased the right piece. Recommend you get the CN JR Anti-twist plate. You will need it, I bet.

Q: 8. Does this bracket work for left eye shooters? I turn my camera counter clockwise (right hand on top) when I shoot vertical, so will this bracket allow the flash to stay on top? Thank you!

A: I am actually left eye dominant myself! The bracket can be mounted to the camera from either side, but I actually mount it with the bracket to the left. I rotate clockwise for verticals-that is just me. What Bob B. stated is completely true. This is a really nice bracket, regardless of dominant eye. One can pretty much mount and shoot however he/she chooses. There is a great you tube video that was the reason I purchased it.

Q: 9. Do they make a TV mount not projector that goes to this?

A: Depending on the TV and with the proper column and and mount you should be able to mount a TV.

Q: 10. I have the 70D with 580ex. I do not have the extra battery pack on the bottom of my camera, will this fit without that? Some say there needs to be a lock on the flash holding arm so it doesn't swing freely. Has that changed? Also what is the the anti twist bar? Is that needed to purchase extra? Thanks Photography by Jeanene

A: I bought this bracket a year ago and its one of my favorite. I have a 5D Mark III with the extra battery grip. I also have the 580 and the 600 flashes. With the grip, there is about a 2 clearance from the top of the off camera flash attachment on the hot shoe to the arm of the bracket. Without the battery grip there would be about 4 inches of clearance. There are 2 locks associated with the flash; one is to keep the flash from twisting and the other mounts on the base to keep the camera from twisting. I honestly don't remember if they were additional options or if they came with the bracket. In either case, I recommend them both. They work well. Hope this helps.
