Q: 1. Will this hood work for a 50mm f 1.8?

A: It will not. This hood is for the RF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens. For the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens, B&H # CA5018EFSTM, you will need the Canon ES-68 Lens Hood, B&H # CAES68. https://bhpho.to/2nFx3ck

A: yes, the products are the same. This is a B&H kit where they are selling the two separate items together, while the other one is the actual Manfrotto kit that comes together in one box.

Q: 3. Does this tripod extend to 72 inches or not?

A: This tripod kit has a maximum height of 72 inches. The max height of the legs alone are 66.9 inches, with the head adding another 5.1 inches.

Q: 4. Would this work with an imac pro ? Looking for a way to leverage the installed VESA mount without having to remove the screws…

A: The ALOGIC Clarity Fold Stand (B&H # ALACFS) will mount a display with a 100 x 100mm VESA mounting pattern. Depending on the model of iMac that you have, you may need to use a VESA adapter such as the Tether Tools Rock Solid VESA Direct Adapter for iMac Computer (B&H # TEVADPT04).

Q: 5. This seems to be fairly similar to the Vanguard Alta Pro 263. What are the differences between the tripods (besides price) and which would be the better choice?

A: I couldnt tell u i use mine for my guns to predator hunt with but the quailty and all the stuff it dies its amazing my two byddies hust bought two of them very well made u want be disappointed

Q: 6. Which Manfrotto bag models fits this tripod?

A: For the Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 Aluminum Tripod with 054 Q2 Magnesium Ball Head, you could look at the Manfrotto MBAG80PN Padded Tripod Bag (B&H # MAMBAG80PN) or the MBAG80N Unpadded Tripod Bag (B&H # MAMBAG80N).

Q: 7. We just got this tripod and the instructions that came with it lists two things that have perplexed us. Under KEY FEATURES , they list two rubber made leg warmers as well as Quick power lock levers that allow to easily open all levers simultaneously. What are they talking about? Is this just a bad translation from Italian or...?

A: Just received mine and I also was confused by the term Leg Warmers . Two of the legs have heavy rubber insulators surrounding the columns about a foot long at the top to keep your hands from freezing by grabbing bare metal in cold weather.

Q: 8. Using a Manfrotto 128RC head what size Manfrotto case is the best fit?

A: The Manfrotto MBAG80PN will be a perfect fit.

Q: 9. Does it work with the bigger Prolycht 675FS?

A: No, the following light shaping tool is designed and made for the Prolycht 675FS.

Q: 10. Is there an optional strap that attaches to this Manfrotto tripod legs to carry over my shoulders? What is the part and link?

A: Absolutely. They make a lot of tripod straps that could work this way, and the Manfrotto tripods have a tripod strap clip that's on the apex/spider of the legs. One side of the strap will clip in while the velcro straps will wrap over the other end's three legs. https://bhpho.to/3y53x4e https://bhpho.to/37Zcb9H Alternatively, you could get a tripod bag which has shoulder straps that's padded to prevent bumps and bruises when the tripod swings around.

I bought a canon RF-70-200mm lens earlier this year, 2022. The lens comes with a large lens hood. Since it takes up a lot of space in my bag, I wanted something similar but smaller. The lens hood from a canon RF-50mm 1.2 wors fine for this purpose.
