The Extra Small LiteDome from Photoflex gives you big results in a very small package. Although the size of the face is only 12 x 16", its surface is 32 times greater than the face of a typical shoe mount flash, and that results in a dramatic improvement in skin texture softening. The Extra Small LiteDome is lightweight and portable, giving you studio-quality lighting wherever you need it. it comes with a basic connector that is ready to accept optional accessories to support a speedlight, however studio strobes require separate purchase of a speedring for use.

A: No, I don't. We just got whatever accessories B&H told us to get at the same time we got this litedome.
Q: 3. What stand would you recommend to mount this using?
A: The right stand would generally depend on the total weight of the light being used. However, a sturdy stand which can be used for lighting up to 22 lbs (10 Kg) is the Avenger C-Stand (10.7', Chrome-plated) B&H # AVA2033F. Please see the following image for reference.
Q: 4. Really fit profoto's speedring?
A: A speed ring which is compatible with this softbox for use on Profoto flash heads is the Photoflex Speed Ring for Profoto B&H # PHSRODPF. Please see the image below for reference.
Q: 5. Can this Litedome work with Novatron 600 VR?
A: This softbox can fit Novatron flash heads which connect to the Novatron 600VR power pack. However, you would need a speed ring to attach the softbox. Q: 6. How badly does the umbrella shaft interfere with the thumbscrews?
A: I have never found that to be a problem...
Q: 7. Descriptions states it's only for monolights. Can I use this with a monolight that has a 300 Watt modeling light?
A: You may use a monolight that has a 300 watt modeling lamp in this softbox.
Q: 8. Can this be used with Elinchrom strobes?
A: The Photoflex boxes are strong and sturdy and I bought them because of the cost and a grid I purchased for them. However, the ring adaptor for the Elinchrom lights did not fit at all and I was unable to use them. When I called Elinchrom for help they told me I had to file down a piece on the ring to get it to fit. Not willing to do that, I sent them back and bought Elinchrom boxes with grids. They worked perfectly of course!
Q: 9. How much does the unit weigh (not including case)?

Q: 10. I recently purchased the Westcott rapid box 26” to use with my AD200 however the deflector plate touches the bulb attachment of the AD200. Wondering if the distance is the same with the Angler BoomBox? It looks like a very similar design to the Rapid Box, but much cheaper.
A: The frame of the Angler has a similar depth to the Westcott RapidBox. It will not work with the AD200 with its supplied hardware.
