I was tired of taking gloves off and on while trying to photograph outside in cold weather. Not to mention the chances of dropping my camera. I saw these gloves on B&H's website and thought they might be just what I'm looking for. I gave them a good workout last week during an outdoor photo session and have to say I really like them. The palms have a nice rubberized material that gives a secure feel to the grip of the camera. I really like the fold back thumbs and first finger tips.... they have a magnetic tab on them that keeps them open and out of the way. Good glove for my needs.

A comfortable sharp looking lightweight vest. This is MUCH nicer than lightweight vests offerred by sporting goods stores. I can't see myself without this vest during fishing trips and hikes during the spring, summer, and fall.

Beautifully crafted and a great bargain - seams are neat and the stitching is strong with reinforcement at stress points. The only negative factor is the hood design - it's TINY!! Functionally useless. Still, the overall quality of this vest makes it a wonderful buy.

Today is January 7, 2017 I purchased my pair of Freehands gloves on November 27, 2011. I thought after all these years today would be a great time to write a review of these awesome gloves. I have used them every winter since I purchased them and they have been good to me. They do the job theyre intended to do and that is keeping my hands warm enough to perform the task of operating my camera. But I have used them for so much more, like holding a retractable leash while walking the dog on a daily basis, gripping the cold steering wheel of the car on early mornings, and many other outdoor tasks. They are my general purpose gloves and I truly panic if I miss place them and they are great for normal cold weather to about 15 dregees F. I never read a review before purchasing them, I just bought them and have been happy ever since. I lost the clip that keeps them together during storage and from time to time I will see a loose thread that is easily removed with scissors. I love these gloves. Before writing this review I read some of the negative reviews and I really feel disheartened by people complaining the glove do not keep their hands warm in 5 degree F weather. There is no temperature rating listed in the description so I ask what would make you think the gloves would be good at 5 degree?

I got these gloves to keep the chill off my hands when shooting during the few weeks of cold weather we get in central Florida. I've made some very bad exposure settings (when in a hurry) in regular gloves so I like the feature of being able to expose my finger and thumb because I rely on feel to adjust my camera. Glad I read the reviews before ordering and got a size larger. They definitely run small.

These run quite small. I am a large and had to get XL. They are thin enough to feel comfortable holding the camera. Great for a mild winter day, or short shoots in very cold weather.

ok, i really like the product.my only problem is the size .i usually wear a 2x.based on the size chart this should fit baggey allowing for shrinking.but it fits perfect as is,i wont put it in the dryer.

I use my vest to carry all kinds of things. I have a CCW and I'm able to carry my concealed weapon in one of the zippered pockets. I can also carry a large wallet, cell phone and other things in this vest. I have the extra extra large vests because I need the space. You can't beat this vest for the money and B&H are really on the ball when it comes to shipping and have really helped me out when I had questions about the product. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK FOLKS!!!!! I have only used these a few times at this point but am happy to say they've become my go to gloves for any use. All winter I use fingerless gloves or pull back hunter's' gloves that either cover or expose all 4 fingers. These provide a fantastic option between those two that I didn't event know I needed. What's more is the fastening method when the fingers are pulled off. Forefinger and thumb stay back on the glove via small neodymium magnets in the fabric. Most gloves either have nothing or small patches of velcro that work once or twice and then no more. This magnet design is solid and not even strongly promoted in the product description. Highly recommended and will be getting more.

fits well great on cold mornings on lake mead, photographing bald eagle migration this time year.
