The MeFOTO SideKick360 Smartphone Tripod Adapter in green is a support for 2.3 to 2.8" wide smartphones that provides stability and allows for enhanced creative control over photos and videos shot with the phone's built-in camera. The aluminum Arca-Swiss style quick-release base works with full-size tripods and any Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp. The adapter is equipped with three 1/4"-20 threads and one 3/8"-16 thread, allowing it to be mounted to a variety of quick-release plates, monopods, and handles. The flexible ball joint allows for 360-degree rotation, so you can situate your phone in either portrait or landscape mode, and the flat base allows it to be used by itself as a stand.

Holds our cell phones steadily & swivels if you want horizontal shots. Balanced enough to stand on it's own without attaching it to a tripod. 5

MeFOTO SideKick360 Smartphone Tripod Adapter (Titanium) works on both of my older tripods. Will work with my iPhone XR and my brother's iPhone 12. Easily rotates and tilts. Very handy if you desire a steady rest. I'm glad I found this online at BHPhotovideo. 5

This adapter works perfectly to mount your smartphone onto a tripod. It’s locking system held my iPhone 6s and my clients Galaxy S8 securely with nary a wobble or quiver. This was not the case with a different type of adapter that wasn’t secure enough. I was able to use my iPhone in a case, the Galaxy was not in a case, ymmv. Also did not try and use it with either phone plugged in, but you should have no problems depending on how you orient your phone and where in the mount you use it. The added feature of the ball joint gives you a great way to adjust the phone as desired for your shot without having to adjust your tripod head. We had it mounted on a slider and this worked out well to not have any phone adjustments interfere with the head settings. The flat bottom has several different holes and sizes for precise placement on a speed plate or other mounting devices. I would recommend this highly for any professional use of a smartphone as a capture device. 5
