A: Dear friend, the reason to buy a bigger filter for smaller lens is to avoid vignetting at wide setting. For your case (filter 77mm / lenses 58mm and 67mm) you need two step-up rings. One from 58 77 and another from 67 77. To save one ring you must buy a 67mm filter and use to the 58 lens with step-up ring and as it is to your other lens (67mm diameter).
