A: Ditto on the 6'4 I'm 280lbs and XXL is not a tight fit.

I do a fair amount of landscape photography where it is easy to be fairly stationary for long periods of time waiting for the best lighting, cloud formation, etc. This is the perfect product to make your back happy. Easy to carry, easy to unfold, and a stable platform for most size butts. My only cautionary note is to be sure that the model you select is the correct size and height for you, as there are many models to choose from. The model designation can be confusing, as XL differs from L by more by the height of the stool, rather than the width of the seat, although it is marginally wider. 5

THIS STOOL IS VERY LIGHT-WEIGHT AND CONVENIENT TO CARRY AND ALSO IS VERY SECURE FOR SITTING. GLAD TO HAVE BOUGHT IT. HAVE ALREADY USED IT FOR PHOTO SHOOTS IN THE MOUNTAINS NEARBY, AND WILL CERTAINLY TAKE IT WITH ME TO PARADES AND OTHER EVENTS. 5

As several others have pointed out, the knees get weaker as we all get older. I measured my chair seat height, but against the notations of others here, I went with the 22 inch height vs. the 18 inch height, thus putting my hips a bit above my knees, which makes it easier to stand. Supports my weight well, and honestly, if you are 18 or much older, having a place to sit for long stretches beats standing for hours. I would rate this as an essential, mandatory piece of photo support equipment! 5

Light, comfortable and portable. This stool goes everywhere with me. And it's tough. I'm bigger than most guys and a standard lawn chair doesn't have a chance of holding me. The Walkstool is essential gear. 5

The 55 X height works well for me , not too low, not too high, for both setting and getting up. I found the netting carry bag a bit clumsy for me to reliably use, so I attached a tripod carry strap to a loop provided on the seat, and a slip loop that is self tightening on the far end of the legs. When setting up the slip loop can simply dangle at the crossing of the legs, or be removed from the legs and thrown in the seat and sat upon while resting. Beyond the bag issue the stool is light, strong ,and quickly setup. It should last for many years. 5

A well engineered and finished stool especially when you need a specific height or special use. I needed to be able to work at an easel, but because of a back problem needed to take the stool with me when out and about and be able to sit at a moments notice. 5
