The CATV Channelized Audio/Video Modulator, Channel 10, from Blonder Tongue is an all-solid-state audio/video modulator that provides a modulated visual and aural RF carrier output on one specific CATV channel. The unit modulates the audio and video inputs and provides the requested RF CATV channel output for use in a CATV, MATV or SMATV system. The modulator accepts standard (sync negative) polarity video at a 0.7-2.5V peak to peak level from sources such as a TV camera, video tape recorder, TV demodulator or satellite receiver.

The modulator features a +55dBmV RF output level, and an IF SAW filtering for adjacent channel operation. All aeronautical channels are offset positive with a tolerance of ±5kHz as required by FCC 21006. All level controls are located on the front panel. The RF level control provides up to +55dBmV output. The video modulator control sets the depth of modulation for 87.5% over an input video level range from 0.7VP/p to 2.5VP/p. An audio modulation control permits adjustment for ±25kHz peak deviation of the aural carrier.

A: The BCH-10 Video Head comes with a proprietary Dual Safety Lock Quick Release Platform, which prevents the camera from sliding off of the head while aligning the camera for proper balance.

Q: 6. Is the Sirui BCH-30 video head compatible with common/affordable Manfrotto 501 style quick release plates, or does it use a proprietary quick release plate? I have many pieces of gear that interface with Manfrotto 501 plates, so I hope they will fit this video head.

A: The Sirui BCH-30 has a propitiatory quick release plate. However you could install a 577 Rapid Connect Adapter on top of this Video Head. Once you have the 577 installed you will be able to use your 501 Plates.https://bhpho.to/2g7RDlc
