The ACL BAR from Elation Professional is an RGBW quad-LED light-bar fixture which features seven individual 15W four-in-one LEDs. Each RGBW LED is equipped with an advanced collimator optic lens designed to produce a homogenized laser-like 4° color-changing beam. Strobe, selectable dimming curve effects, and individual pixel control make this a versatile bar luminaire.

The ACL BAR incorporates a four-button control panel and a full-color 180°-reversible LCD menu display. It features RJ45 ports as well as three- & five-pin XLR connectors, and supports DMX512, RDM (Remote Device Management), Art-Net, and Kling-Net protocols. Flicker-free operation makes the unit suitable for TV and film broadcast. Ten DMX channel modes (1CH:04, 2CH:04, 6, 8, 10, 12, 27, 30, 32, and 35 channels) enable you to control varying levels of features. The first two channel modes indicate that there are two different four-channel modes. 

The fixture features a powerCON input and an internal auto-switching power supply. It is compatible with 100-240 VAC outlets and has a maximum power consumption of 135W. The ACL Bar can be mounted in any position using mounting clamps (sold separately) and ships with a glare shield and frost filter.

Q: 4. New to DMX and their related equipment. The specs for the Elation says it has 1 master dimmer fader and 6 faders. I have 5 LED panels and I want to control each one separately for brightness and color temp. I believe that means I need 10 faders - right? Does that mean I would need two Elation Controllers? Is there another simple/basic option that would allow me to support all of my LED panels via one DMX controller? I don't need fancy programming or preset options.

A: No. The following unit offers six faders which control channels 1-6 and 7-12.

Q: 5. Does this include the gel frame as well as the gel frame holder accessory?

A: This would be the gel frame and the necessary holder for it.

Q: 6. I have tested with just the only dmx light I have--it works but ony using the #1 slider--can't seem to assign the light to another slider. I'll be getting more dmx lights, so how can I assign lights to the other sliders? (If adjust the light itself to channel 2, I can still only control it with the #1 slider, and I didn't have any luck messing with the dip switches on the controller--I didn't fully understand their explanation of the switches.)

A: If you set the light's DMX address to one more than the address of the controller then it'll be able to be dimmed with slider #2. Set the light to two more than the address of the controller and you can use slider #3 to adjust it, and so on.

Q: 7. Are the gel frame holders included with the frame? Also do you offer the barndoors

A: The Elation Professional Gel Frame and Holder Kit for Sixpar 300 / 300IP LED Fixture listed above is an optional accessory kit that includes a gel frame holder that easily attaches to the SIXPAR300 fixture, and a gel frame that easily slides into the holder. The Elation Professional Barn Door for Sixpar 300 / 300IP LED Fixture, B&H # ELSIXPARB300 • MFR # SIXPAR/BD300, was the barndoor for this unit, but it appears this item has since been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase from B&H Photo.

Q: 8. The E-Fly unit looks exactly the same as a ADJ WiFly unit. Can they work together?

A: Yes it is the same technology. Wifly is sold through ADJ and E-Fly throigh Elation.

Q: 9. can i change colour temperature with this gear?

A: The Elation Professional SDC12 12-Channel Basic DMX Controller can control color. It is only 12 channels. It is limited but that and the amount of channels your light needs.

Q: 10. Does this controller have any automated presets like strobe, cop car, auto up and down intensity, etc...?
