Designed with an eye for both performance and comfort, Bresser's 10x42 Hunter Specialties Primal Series Binoculars are outfitted with BaK-4 roof prisms and anti-reflection, fully multi-coated optics, which help to produce clear and bright high-contrast images from dawn to dusk and in areas with a dense canopy. Equipped with a higher 10x magnification allows you to bring your subjects in closer for detailed views from further distances versus lower-power optics, and its wide apparent angle of view provides a truly immersive observational experience and makes finding and tracking fast moving objects easier. To ensure you can resolve details, the HS Primal binoculars are equipped with a large center focus wheel, right-eye dioptric correction, and twist-up eyecups for use with or without eyewear.

Complementing the optical performance is a lightweight yet durable aluminum alloy chassis, with rubber armoring to help protect it from impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip, especially in cold and wet conditions. To further enhance the grip, cut some extra weight, and to give it a firm feel in the hand, the HS Primal binoculars are configured with an open bridge that allows maximum surface area for your whole hand to grip comfortably, making this an ideal optic for long-duration observation session. The binoculars' optical tubes are O-ring sealed for water and fogproof performance even in extreme conditions, and a tripod mount is set in the front of the center hinge for hands-free use at the range or for bird watching.

A: The BRESSER 10x42 Hunter Specialties Primal Series Binoculars BH #BRHS01042 • MFR #HS-01042 is a good choice. My advice would be for a binocular with an objective lens of 50mm for a brighter view of the night sky. Example: Vortex 10x50 Crossfire HD Binoculars BH #VO10X50CHDB • MFR #CF-4313

A: No they are made in Portugal. I have a pair of Trinovid 8 X 32 I bought about 20 yrs ago that were made in Germany; these (10X40) are just as good. Both terrific. I like the larger image. The slightly heavier weight also help me steady my tremor. Good glasses!

These are really good binoculars and perform as well as other brands costing almost twice as much. The features all add up to my favorite pair of binoculars. I am very, very happy with them.

Bought these for myself and gave my 8x42 Trailseeker ED to my wife. Are in Ecuador currently. My bins are great early morning/late evening - out dueling my camera for birding. Spotting Antpittas is no small task!
Meeting all my expectations.

I've always believed you get what you pay for when it comes to optics so I was a little unsure about these. But they are an incredible value. The image is clear and sharp and the build quality is great. Similar binoculars from other manufacturers cost significantly more. Plus the case and chest strap are very useful and would cost you more with another brand.

Love the size and ease of handling. Could have used a little instruction on the chest harness.
