Q: 2. This holder fits tokina 11-16 mm lens (for Nikon d7100). Generate vignetting?

A: This is an adapter ring only for the Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8 lens. A holder and adapter ring to fit the Tokina 11-16mm without vignetting are the LEE Filters LEE100 Filter Holder, B&H # LE100FH and the LEE Filters 77mm Wide-Angle Lens Adapter Ring for 100mm System Filter Holder, B&H # LEARWA77. https://bhpho.to/2r1Vzw4 https://bhpho.to/2QEbtXK

Q: 4. Will Lee release adapters for lenses with smaller filter threads in the future? I have lenses with 67mm and 58mm filter sizes. If not, can I use step up rings for smaller lenses?

A: SW 150 MK-II HOLDER KIT WHICH I BOUGHT IS FOR SQUARE OR RECTANGULAR FILTERS (ND GRAD OR 10 STOP SOLID ETC) NOT FOR CIRCULAR FILTER. HOW EVER,FROM FIGURE ABOVE IT IT SEEMS THAT IT IS FOR CIRCULAR FILTER.I want to tell you more that , unless you are combiling 2 to 3 filters at a time, not possible to get ultimate quality.Using one specific folter of circular size may be---thats why to go for square or rectangular filter.hope it will help you .

A: I dot have zeiss 15mm only 21mmf2.8

Q: 6. I just received my 95mm adaptor ring - however I don't see threads on this to screw into the lens - what am I missing?

A: There is a thread but it is difficult to see. The adaptor is a cup shape. The inside of the cup faces towards the lens. The thread is on the small lip that extends upwards from the bottom of the inside of the cup.

Q: 7. Does this Lee adapter work with Nikkor Z lenses: 14-30 F4?

A: Yes, LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Lenses with 82mm Filter Threads is the correct adaptor to connect Nikon NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens to LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Filter System Holder for Wide-Angle Lenses.

Q: 8. The lens cap no longer fits once the adapter is fitted. Neither the adapter or filter holder comes with a lens cap and I cannot find one. What is used to protect the lens with the adapter in place?

A: I cannot speak directly to the Canon lens, as I use a Nikon 14-24. If they're similar, I can tell you that on the Nikon, Lee provided a neoprene sock for lack of a better word. It fits snugly, and actually does a better job of keeping dust off the lens glass. Also, the lens cap provided by Nikon does still fit, barely. However, I added a piece of gaffers tape to the rim of the lens cap, making it fit more snugly, and that holds the original lens cap nicely. So for me, I have two ways that work. Ultimately, I use both simultaneously. The neoprene sock certainly will not protect the lens glass from ANY kind of impact. I've seen some videos where people are frustrated that they have to choose one or the other. Nonsense! I simply places the hard lens cap inside the neoprene sock and place over my lens. Best of both worlds. In fact, I ordered an extra sock for my other 14-24, as added dust protection. They work great! Hopefully, your Canon will have similar success!

Q: 9. Will this work with rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens with AE chip

A: No, the LEE Filters SW150 Mark II Lens Adapter for Samyang/Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC Lens does not work with the Rokinon 14mm f2.8 lens with AE chip.

Q: 10. Will this work on a Sigma Cine 14mm Prime lens? Or for any sigma 95mm lens front

A: The Sigma 14mm prime has a 95mm diameter front but does not have 95mm threads, it will not work on the Sigma 14mm Cine. This adapter will work on a lens that has 95mm front filter threads.

The price is high but for quality I want it

On a Lee Foundation kit with 2 filter slots (one slot removed), you can use a full frame camera and a 16mm wide angle lens with virtually no vignette....fantastic. I can't figure out why Lee asks for double the price over their standard adapter. Regardless, it works like a charm with wide angle lenses.

I bought the standard adaptor ring first then found that it vingetted badly with the wide end of my 24-120 f4 zoom, and terribly with my 17-35mm zoom. So just bite the bullet and purchase the wide angle adaptor right from the start and you'll be money ahead actually. It works fine with the telephoto lenses as well. Apparently the wide adaptor is trickier to manufacture but it is nicely made and a must have.

I recently purchased a Canon 35mm prime lens (great lens, by the way) and wanted to use my Lee GND filters. So, I needed this adapter. I'm impressed with it as I have seen no signs of vignetting. Highly recommend it. Only negative is the price - but then again, it's made by Lee.
