It is essentially just a multiple a/c power strip with individual switches which are tied into led lights. The product is rated for 230volts a/c, which is the highest a/c power source that one may find. Any a/c power level below that will be handled because the unit is rated for 230 volts a/c. Many multiple-outlet power strips can be used with European 230 volts a/c supply. They will pass the a/c voltage just fine, if their breaker or fuse is rated for 230 volts a/c. The only difference when using such a product as this in the USA, or in Europe is the need to choose the proper plug to get the power cord to mate with the supplied a/c outlet. This is my understanding of how units like this can be made to function across a variety of a/c input voltages from 100 volts to 230 volts, and not require modification.
