A: I do not see that many discrepancies. The unit can now handle up to 2x 8 TB HDD internal and up to 12 MP resolution cameras. 4K is around 8 MP.

Q: 2. Non Hikvision cameras can be use with "Smart Analysis" but data sheet shows up to 4 4MP are allowed however the PDF shows 4 8MP cameras. Which is it?

A: Some features might work when using other manufacturer cameras. Officially, Hikvision analytics are only supported between Hikvision products. If you are using a Hikvision product, then officially, it will work with up to a 12MP camera.

Q: 3. Is it possible to access the connected IP cameras directly from other network devices over the LAN port?

A: Yes, with a web browser you would access the system and go to Configuration Network Advanced Settings Other, click the check box for Enable Virtual Host, click save. Then you would go to the IP camera management interface and you will see a connect column on the right-most side of the camera list.
