Immerse yourself in your game with the UltraWide 21:9 34UM69G-B 34" 21:9 IPS Gaming Monitor from LG. In addition to the UltraWide aspect ratio of this LG display, gamers can take advantage of a reduced response time of 1 ms thanks to built-in Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) technology and a typical response time of 5 ms. With AMD FreeSync Technology the display can sync to your graphics card to help prevent tearing and stuttering during fast moving scenes. For a complete gaming experience, LG has incorporated their Black Stabilizer technology into the monitor to brighten dark areas of the screen for a clearer view of the content. Setting up the display for gaming has also been simplified thanks to three gamer modes, two first person shooter modes, and an RTS mode.

Configuring this LG Gaming Monitor is simple as it comes equipped with both DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. In addition to audio/video inputs, users can plug USB compatible peripherals into the DisplayPort, which doubles as a USB-C port. Once configured, the monitor offers an enhanced 2560 x 1080 resolution accompanied by a 250 cd/m² brightness rating, and the LG Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio. When attached to the detachable base the display can be tilted and the height can be adjusted for maximum viewing comfort. Detach the monitor from the stand and it can be mounted using a VESA compatible mount to take full advantage of the 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this monitor and at first I was disappointed. There weren't clear direction or drivers in the materials enclosed with the monitor. Once I found the manual and the drivers at the website, everything smoothed out. The monitor has a very sharp picture and is a little smaller than the dual monitors I used to have. The additional contrast makes up for that but after looking at my daughter's dual curved monitor setup, I think I will eventually get another 34" monitor. This monitor is powered with an ASUS AMD Radeon RX 5700 Overclocked 8G GDDR6 Dual Fan EVO Edition HDMI DisplayPort Gaming Graphics Card. The display is easy to read, but I will get a curved monitor in the future even though I have had no trouble reading the edges of the monitor. I have had very good experience with LG electronics in the past and added this monitor and an M-Disk Blueray-DVD writer to my current build for that reason. The monitor has a stable stand and has more adjustment than I needed (Vertical and tilt). It has a handy joy stick control in the bottom center of the monitor for quick video adjustments. If you don't have the money to get a curved monitor, I recommend this product. 5
