The Astra 6X Bi-Color LED Light Panel from LitePanels offers significantly brightness due to the use of tightly-binned LEDs and fine-tuned TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics, resulting in a longer throw over a wider field. It offers flicker-free 0-100% dimming with no visible color shift, and has a high CRI of 95 for accurate color rendering

The Astra's functions may be adjusted locally using the intuitive built-in controls, or operated remotely with one of the optional DMX512 Modules, available in XLR 5-Pin, RJ-45, or Wireless formats. Each module provides Master/Replica configuration for the control of single lights, or multiple light fixtures in a network or daisy chain. In addition, the Astra Bluetooth module provides the same kind of control of single or multiple lights from a portable device, using the free LitePanels SmartLite app download. The accessory modules slide into place on the rear of the Astra panel simply and quickly, with no wiring or complex installation required.

The Astra 6X Bi-Color comes with both US and EU power cables, plus a universal (100-240 VAC) adapter. It also operates on 13-24 VDC batteries by using V-Mount or Gold Mount battery plates, available separately. The unique curved yoke design features a TVMP connector for hanging or stand mounting the panel almost anywhere, and two additional 1/4"-20 female taps offer alternate mounting points.

Q: 1. Does this come with a gold mount plate?

A: no

A: Yes if you buy the Bluetooth module of course.

Q: 3. so does this kit weigh 46lbs packed?

A: Paul, I bought the 2 light kit. This I dont know for the 3 light kit. Also I would suggest you pack the lights in a Storm Case which is a little lighter.

Q: 4. How many lumens is each light?

A: While a lumens rating is not provided by the manufacturer, they do list this panel as comparable to the output of a 200 watt HMI light.

Q: 5. Is there an option to simply plug these lights in or are they battery powered only?

A: Yes, comes with the power supply.

Q: 6. Does it run dimming at 100% on batterry? It is 24vdc its means that it take too much power for regular 12vdc batterry ( 95 mwh). I have one 6x and it shutdown if i dim it more than 50%

A: On our 95Wh we only use these up to 50% or so. We use a bigger 160wh if we need to run on battery at full strength.

Q: 7. Are these powerful enough to use as a key light on a sunny day?

A: Yes close up it can work but you will benefit from the 6x, almost twice as powerful

Q: 8. Can an IDX DUO-C98 96Wh High-Load Battery V mount battery be used in this light an/or model?

A: The IDX-DUO-C98 is capable of running a Litepanels Astra 6x.

Q: 9. Would these be able to be fully powered at the 6X capacity with 90Wh Gold mount Anton Bauer batts or would it need higher capacity batts?

A: It depends on the power (not the capacity) of your batteries. The lights draw 110W at full power. Most newer AB batteries can handle 110W, but older ones and smaller ones can not. Try to find the power specs of your lights, either in Watts, or in Amps and multiply by 14v to get Watts. (PS: VoltAmps and Watts are the same thing, so multiply Voltage times Amps to get power limit)

Q: 10. Is the A/B mountable to the back of the Astra 6x ?

A: Yes, you use 1 battery at a time.
