Q: 2. I have 2 similar backgrounds I got from Denny. They work fine BUT when I arrive on location I have to set them up and wait about 45 minutes for the wrinkles and creases to work themselves out. Are these the same or do they pop up perfectly flat like the material in a reflector?

A: It does not come out perfectly flat, but the wrinkles are minimal. I have a steamer which can take care of the major wrinkles in minutes. I would say 10 minutes is what you should plan for a setup.

Q: 3. How close is this mid-grey to 18% grey?

A: It appears to be really close when visually compared to my gray card. I will say though, I've been getting a bluish / purple tint on the background in my images, which I have to remove. Doesn't matter what I light it with or what the background exposure is, and you don't see it with the naked eye. Haven't had a chance to figure that out yet.

Q: 4. Are you able to place the power cord on the back or bottom ?

A: My cord is hard-wired and comes out of the side of the box without an on-off switch. However, if you are handy with tools - the box can probably be easily drilled if you want to re-locate the cord.
