Its intent is CAD programs where you will inuitively maniuplate a CAD model like you would if you were holding it in your hand. Most of the hard buttons are labeled for CAD apps, so even though you can reprgram them, they wont be intuitive. Im a photographer also, and I do not use this device for photo apps, only at work with CAD modeling programs.
