It features a wide 50 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response and high maximum SPL of 135 dB, making it equally suitable for voice, instruments, or drums onstage and in the studio. Its tonal character is tuned to soften bright or thin sources and yield a stronger emphasis on midrange clarity.

The M81's head and capsule assembly is designed to reduce proximity effect while still providing present bass. Q: 1. Does this microphone put out a balanced signal?

A: I have a Pyle PDM MIC 58 which essentially the same mic as this one. The mic does not come wired as a balanced mic but I found this video where you can perform a simple mod. Go to youtube and search for Pyle PDMIC78 Microphone - SM-57 Knockoff it's posted by a guy named Bob H.If you are making a short run (less than 20 feet) to your mixer or input source, you may not even need to balance it though. I have been using mine with the supplied 15 foot xlr to 1/4 mono cable and it sounds great into my Zoom H1 recorder. This is a great value and instead of everyone asking why this is so much less than the Shure SM57, the question should be why is the SM57 so expensive?I have one of these in my cart and will be getting one with my next order to go along with the PD MIC 58.

Q: 2. what kind of devices can I plug my atr-1100 microphone into?

A: The Audio Technica ATR 1100 is a dynamic handheld mic that requires no power in order to operate and can be connected to almost any device that accepts a 1/8 or 1/4 mic jack. This includes PA systems, camcorders, voice recorders, etc.

Q: 3. Is it a wireless microphone or does it have to be attached to a karaoke machine?

A: Standard mic (3 pin).... Great buy for the $.

Q: 4. Hello, would like to ask the circumference of the handle for this model? thanks

A: 4.71 circumference.

Q: 5. Would I be able to use a XLR-TO-USB SIGNAL ADAPTER with this mic to record directly into my laptop? Thinking a Blue Microphones Icicle XLR to USB Mic Converter/Mic Preamp or a SHURE X2U XLR-TO-USB SIGNAL ADAPTER would work for this?

A: Either of these adapters will work, however, the Icicle has been discontinued, and the Shure is much better quality.

Q: 6. Does this require batteries?

A: No

Q: 7. Does CH99 is compatible with a concert88x receiver?

A: The Samson CH99 Handheld Transmitter with Q8 Dynamic Microphone Capsule is designed for use with the Concert 99 series and is not recommended for use with Samson's Concert 88 product line. Please see similar Concert 88 handheld options here: https://bhpho.to/37wrppG

Q: 8. Does this record in stereo

A: This is not a stereo microphone, it only gives out a mono signal.

Q: 9. does this grille fit a shure sm58 microphone?

A: We can not guarantee compatibility with an SM58. For a guaranteed replacement for the SM58, here is this grill BH #SHRK143G.

Q: 10. I understand it's a dynamic mic, but is the switch quiet even if I need to have phantom power on for other mics?

A: Yes the Sennheiser e835S has a silent switch. It's also a good sounding mic that you would expect to pay a bit more for.

I use 2 mics when recording vocals. I use the 67i in conjunction with the MXL R144 ribbon and it works fabulous. My secret is to have the vocalist sing right between the 2 mics with a pop filter and mix it English style right then for the best sound and print. Good mic technique finishes the recording. I will run it 60/40 in favor of one mic over the other, but 2 mics mixed always dials in better than a single mic in this price range.

I bought this microphone for my project recording studio needing something affordable with a warm rich tone. I was not disappointed. The V67G has a FET preamp inside the body and it has a very tube-like nature to it; the harmonic content is rich but not in an obtrusive way. The bass proximity effect is a little over-powering at times, but by simply using some bass roll-off in the EQ stage of the channel strip can help that. The looks of the microphone are impressive as well - I think my clients will appreciate that as well as the tone of the recordings through it. I've so far used it on vocals only but I definitely see myself using it on acoustic guitars as well. This particular model was not billed as being able to handle high SPL very well, so I might not go to the extent of using it to mic my 4x12 cab but it's primarily designed for vocals. The price is incredible and well within reach of any studio budget, large or small.

I purchased this mike for my home recording studio and fell in love with it the first time I used it. I have to be honest though, I did not expect alot from this mic due to the price. I was wrong! I also have a more expensive one that I normally use but wanted to buy something cheaper to use out in gigs as well. Well, I sold the expensive mic and sent for another one of these. Thank you very much. :) I am a very Happy cutomer!

It is surprising how this little piece of gear takes down so many other microphones. I have heard over 100 budget microphones but non sounds as musical as this microphone. I'm quite pleased with my purchase and recommend this item for anyone who intends to purchase a mic in this range. Sound wise it takes down my NT1a.

I use the V67i for recording, mainly rap and hip-hop vocals. I am amazed by the clarity and precision and the quaility of the signal captured during playback. In a far less than stellar recording enviorment I am still able to get a good recording with minimal unwanted noise. The microphone is very sensitive so it allows me the flexibility to record into the late hours of the evening without having me or other artist yell at the top of our lungs to create the passionate drive in the music. I will definately continue to recommend this product, as I have done so already with my peers.

I am using this mic for vocals and handheld percussion. It is fantastic. But be careful not to overdrive it, as it is very sensitive.

I got this condenser mic for recording vocal tracks. I was truly blown away with the quality. This mic made my recordings actually sound proffesional - I would buy this mic again over a comperable $condenser mic. It also works really well recording guitars, woodwinds, other instruments, and being part of my setup for recording a drum set. This mic rocks.
