This unit has 12 NEMA 5-15R outlets–two of which are spaced to accommodate larger transformer plugs–and a standard NEMA 5-15P input connection. It uses an input voltage of 120V @ 50/60 Hz with a 15A input/line current, and has a surge energy rating of 2160 joules. This SurgeArrest model utilizes an integrated 6' power cord and turns on and off using a recessed power switch. Protection is provided by a limited lifetime warranty, and connected equipment that is damaged while the SurgeArrest is active will be covered up to $150,000, subject to APC's terms and conditions.

A 90° plug angle allows for equipment and furniture to be placed closer to the wall than with a standard power cord. This also reduces cord stress.

A: Unfortunately, no. APC Essential surge protectors only support an input voltage of 104 to 126V. The switch and internal components are only rated for 125V. I would suggest using a surge protector designed for the country its being used in. You could also just use a basic power strip (no surge protection or circuit breaker).

The surge protector is exactly what I needed. The unit's compact size and 8 outlets allowed me conceal all of the electrical plugs for my high end stereo equipment and the cable boxes. It is a well designed product. 5

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say, this is a very good surge protector for the money! I have been reworking my setup, due to the fact I needed rearrange my TV, sound system, & recording studio, to make the room more open & less cluttered. So I figured I am going to need another one of these surge protectors, w/ a prior brand I bought prior (Pyle - very good.), to essentially "split" the left & right side of my TV, sound system, & studio. And this CyberPower is exactly what I needed! 5

Several years ago, an APC surge protector saved my mother's brand new computer from damage during a power surge. The protector was fried, and the computer was totally unharmed. I intend to stay loyal to APC products. 5

Very basic but attractive looking surge protector with 8 outlets. If you need a white one this is a good one to get if it meets your connection needs. 8 Outlets is usually plenty for most. Recommended! 5

For those of you that perfer using white equipment, this little APC Surge Protector is very generous with 12 outlets including some that are spaced further out to accommodate larger plugs. Very sturdy and reliable and looks slick too. Highly recommended! 5
