The BCT-2003 Professional 3-Section Aluminum Video Tripod from Sirui features a 75mm bowl for compatible fluid heads and supports up to 22 lb loads. It offers a 17 to 63" height range and comes with ground and mid-level spreaders, both of which are removable. The ground spreader has a rubber underside for safer and more secure placement on flat surfaces. When the ground spreader is removed, dual-spiked feet are revealed for use on soft ground.

The aluminum tripod is designed with multi-tube legs for enhanced stability and reduced vibration. Each leg is adjustable individually and secured with oversized twist leg locks that are easy to handle.

I have never been a fan of tripods, I prefer to hand hold. But when I got a lens that weighed almost 8# I needed something. This tripod is sturdy enough to hold the boat anchor lens and gimbal with no problem. What a joy to use this and feel that my equipment is safe and steady. While it's heavier than I would want to carry for a great distance it's great if you're sticking to one spot. 5

This is my 2nd Sirui 2004 tripod. Both are excellent quality and work great. B&H were great a guiding me through the rebate process. I would buy another Sirui tripod if it was needed. 5

I had the Sirui 3004X for years and found it very sturdy and workable. When that was stolen I looked and compared a lot of tripods. I don't use the tripod for my long heavy lenses anymore but loved the stability of my old Sirui even for astrophotography. So I settled on this slightly lighter version and have been completely satisfied with it. 5

I compared this with most all other tripod leg/head combinations with similar features and this appeared to be the much better deal for the price, so I took what I thought was a risk in purchasing this Sirui unit. Wow, I am impressed! This is replacing my old Promaster so it's been a while since I seriously looked at tripods. The Promaster is a warhorse of a tripod that I still punish in the ocean, so that is the only action this unit hasn't seen yet. Everything about this oozes quality. The retractable spiked feet are also VERY nice and top quality. The head is rock solid too and very smooth, with both the controls and panning. The price was not my only criteria but there are other brands almost twice this price for the features. It is also very stable, even fully extended. So if you are looking for an Arca-Swiss compatible head with a great weight capacity, retractable spiked feet, flip-lock levers, two padded legs, compact design, center column ballast hook and a beautiful padded case, then look no further! P.S. It also comes with a separate short center column (approx. 4 inches). 5

Returning this for the carbon fiber version of this tripod. This aluminum one is very sturdy and the ball head that came with it is nice. It does a good job holding my 6D. I just want a lighter version. 5
