Q: 1. Can you use a 2 Ft. 14 gauge extension cord with the CP 1500PFCLCD? I did use it for several years with a older CP1350PFCLCD. Or is a 2 Ft. 12 gauge extension cord better to use?

A: A 14ga extension cord should be adequate for the wattage capabilities of the CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS.

Q: 2. So if I have a 3D printer that pulls about 50 watts, how long will this thing keep it running if power goes out?

A: According to the manufacturers runtime calculator a 50w load would be about 100 minutes.

Q: 3. I noticed since plugging my iMac into this, it's shut off unexpectedly twice. Why is this all of a sudden happening and is it because of the battery? It never did it before.

A: Hello Maria, Depending on the the age of your unit it may be the battery. We suggest contacting our technical support team to troubleshoot the issue. You can contact us at 1.877.297.6937 (option 1).

Q: 4. How often does the battery need to be replaced?

A: Cyberpower does not provide that information as it can vary. UPS batteries require replacement when no longer capable and if the UPS is called upon more often than normal to keep devices powered, the battery will be spent faster.

Q: 5. Does this software work with Mac computers?

A: Hi David,Reiko and Robert are both right and our software is compatible with Mac computers.

Q: 6. Can B&H supply a 220v version of this or something comparable? If so, kindly send a link. Thanks.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have a 220v UPS.

Q: 7. Is the power light suppose to stay lit all of the time? My power light is off most of the time, but occasionally flickers on/off. Does this mean the battery is low?

A: Yes, the power light should be on if the UPS is on.

Q: 8. When AC grid power is restored, will the UPS turn on automatically, power up all connected devices and charge battery?

A: Yes, the CyberPower CP1500PFC will turn back on when power is restored. This is a setting you can change if you would prefer it to stay off until manually switched back on again.

Q: 9. My child keeps pushing all the buttons below my desk. How easy is it to shut this thing down? Is it one click or there is a hold time before it shuts? Thank you.
