Looking to use your Leitz M-Mount lenses on your ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA Mini, or AMIRA camera? Then, this Leitz M-Mount for ARRI ALEXA Mini LF, ALEXA Mini & AMIRA is just the item you need to convert your camera. It mounts on your ARRI camera with the included mounting screws. The mount also ships with a lens port cap. Please note that your ALEXA Mini or AMIRA will need to be sent to ARRI for modification to work with this adapter, the adapter works with the ALEXA Mini LF without having the camera modified. Attempting to use this adapter on your ALEXA Mini or AMIRA without having your camera modified will result in damage to your camera/lens when trying to focus the lens to infinity.

To use this lens mount on either an ALEXA Mini or AMIRA, your camera will have to be sent to ARRI for a permanent modification. Once modified, your camera will be able to accept this lens mount as well as other lens mounts, including the ARRI PL/LPL mounts. This mount works directly on your ALEXA Mini LF, without any modification needing to be made to your camera.

The Leitz M-Mount is designed specifically to work with the Leitz M 0.8 lenses from ErnstLeitz Wetzlar GmbH. Other M-Mount lenses vary as to how far the rear elements extend beyond the mount, and even with the camera modification, some other lenses may extend too far and damage the OLPF of the camera as well as the lens being used. While other M-Mount lenses may be usable with this mount, the responsibility for testing and confirming usability rests solely on the user, and caution is advised.

Quick and easy to use, and holds on very tight. Have used it mounted to a dry car (both on the hood and on a window), and it stays on even on very rough terrain. 5

Attached my GoPro to the inside of my Corvette windshield which has a really radical slope. Many articulating joints allowed me to set it up just right.. Well made product that comes with an extension piece that has given me other mounting options. Just make sure that all of the joints are really really tight if hanging a heavier camera. The suction cup is big and grips well. 5

The last time I used this was when I mounted my GoPro on it and them attached it to the roof of my car to shoot a video while going over a bridge. Not trusting in 100% I had it tethered to the car. Works great on glass, metal and just about any smooth surface. .... Im not a robot lol ... thedeitz.com 5

I bought this product to mount a camera on a rowing shell and so far it has worked amazingly. The mount seems to absorb any vibrations or bumps caused by rough water, creating a smooth video while at the same time leaving you with the peace of mind knowing that your camera will not fall off the mounting surface no matter how much water splashes around it. Overall, this is a great product, definitely worth every dollar and a great alternative to buying a gopro system for anyone that already has any type of waterproof video camera. 5

I use this mount to place a small video camera on the winshile of my car. It quickly adheres well to a flat non-pourous surface. The added extension pice is nice because it gets the camera mounting screw out enough f the way from the suction to position it so the suction cup is not in the shot and the camera can have some spacing behind the windshield. A great and easy to use little product! My only compliant, which is minor, is that the camera thumb screw would move independantly of the tightening arm so you could attach the camera quicker. 5

Now, for sure this isn't the fanciest suction cup mount you can get, or the strongest, but...you have to think about this in terms of price - 1st up it will carry a 5dmkII (I haven't tried it with a heavy tele lense - but why would you want to mount that on a suction cup?).Also - it's small - which means you can stick it to your windscreen, and it's relatively discreet for shooting internals - your passenger won't constantly be eyeballing it.a couple of cons are: it's a * ache to mount the camera - and get it off. Setting up a shot can take a while as you have to keep running outside the car (unless you have an external monitor), and... ok then, it would be nice if it supported just a little more weight, but:In terms of bang for your buck it's going to be hard to find anything that does what it says, with the build quality - which is a BIG plus - that can beat it, in the whole shop. 5
