It's pretty tough - the weak point is that the focusing barrel is made of plastic and can break if dropped or not protected. The best part about this light is that it can do any color. I'd purchase again.

A: While the power option for this light is mainly AC, you could connect it to a generator which is able to hold the power draw of the light.
