The Sync E Bracket with Belt Clip Mount from Tentacle Sync is a lightweight aluminum bracket that can be mounted to any camera rig or directly to a camera with the included 1/4"-20 screw. It features a slide-in mechanism for the separately available Sync E box and a small clamp offers secure fastening. The bracket can be fastened to a sound bag or belt with the belt-clip mount attached and can be fastened to a rig or camera when the belt-clip mount is unscrewed.

A: Correct, this cable can be used with a RED camera (except RED One), connected to the 4-pin LEMO TC Sync port. Audio channels will not be effected.

Q: 3. I bought this cable and I'm have trouble sending time code from the tentacle to the iPhone. maybe I'm doing it wrong. How exactly does this work? Thanks

A: Tentacle normally works in Bluetooth. I receive time code from the Tentacle by downloading the app. The app reads the TC via Bluetooth. I've never used a cord with my iPhone. Hopefully this helps.

Q: 4. Is there some way to mount this into a rack easily? There seems to be limited mounting options.

A: The Tentacle Sync Timebar Multipurpose Timecode Display could be mounted to a flat rack panel face using soft side hook and loop to attach the unit.

A: No. The Tentacle Sync AO6-B Sync E Bracket with 1/4" Screw and Key BH #TEA06B it is for the Tentacle Sync E Box only.

Q: 6. would this work on the RED Komodo?

A: The Red Komodo has a 3.5mm audio input but I am not seeing that this could be used for timecode syncing.

Q: 7. Is this compatible with other rigs like tilta or just made to only interface with small rig?

A: Yes, the Tentacle Sync MAD Clamp Bracket by SmallRig for Sync E TimeCode Device can be used with a rig made by any manufacturer, not specifically those that are made by SmallRig.

A: No, the AO6-B is designed for use with the Tentacle Sync E Timecode Generator (B&H # TETE1) which measures 1.5 x 2.0 x 0.6" (38 x 50 x 15 mm). The Track E Recorder (B&H # TETRACKE) is a different size and measures 1.9 x 2.7 x 0.7" / 47 x 68 x 19 mm).

Instead of leaving your Sync E dangling, support it in the style in which it was intended. Not sure what the Church Key and the Allen wrench are for, but thanks anyway. Nicely placed on the top of a GH5s. 5

This allows me to attach my E Sync to any camera without having to add velcro to it. Really handy if Im renting another camera or if another owner/operator Im working with doesnt want to take the time to scrub adhesive off their rig at the end of the shoot. Its a really solid build and easy to put together. Its not a super low profile, so it adds a little bit of size to your rig, but the pros of this thing far outweigh any cons for me. 5

This is a quality little unit, that does just exactly what it says it does. This is especially useful when you can't find a location to put the Tentacle sync Velcro mount anywhere on your rig. With a half cage and/or a cold shoe mount, this little article does the trick. 5
