A: No, The TV One Magenta MG-AOC-66A-100 Active Optical High-Speed HDMI Cable will not send control data to a Pocket camera from an Atem Mini switcher. A solution that does work is connecting the Camera to the HDMI input of this converter https://bhpho.to/3nClODz from Black Magic. Then using two SDI cables for the long run to a second converter which converts back to HDMI and into the Switcher. You would need a total of two Bi-directional converters and two SDI cables to make the connection which will support control.
