Q: 1. At least 3 times this ad says that this modifier is for strobes up to 600 watt seconds. My studio uses Paul Buff 640 watt second Einstein strobes, which are obviously over the stated 600 watt second limit. Should I assume that it would be unwise to use this modifier, fitted with a Bowens to Balcar mount adapter, with my Einstein strobes?

A: This kit is safe to use with monolights that are 600 watt/sec or below.

Q: 2. Would this cable work with the Blackmagic Atem Mini Camera Control?

A: Yes. This A-Neuvideo ANI-AOC-40 High-Speed Active Optical HDMI Cable (131.2'), would work with the Blackmagic Atem Mini Camera Control.

Q: 3. Will this work on elite 810 gs?

A: Not sure. I went with a dedicated cable instead from BestBuy.

Q: 4. Is there video input through these as well? Especially on an HP 840 g1 ?

A: No, this adapter is designed to convert a Displayport port on a computer to HDMI for output alone.

Q: 5. does this come with a reel?

A: According to A-NeuVideo, "These are no longer packaged with a reel."

Q: 6. The video mentions being able to use any Canon EF lens. Will RF lenses ever be considered?

A: No plans in westcott road map. As of now EF lens only.

Q: 7. Can I use my Chromebook as a screem for my XBox One using this adapter?

A: No. This will not act as a capture card for your Chromebook.

Q: 8. Can you use two of these with the HP 2013 UltraSlim docking station? Side by side or is the adapter to thick?

A: We have not been able to test it out, but based off the specs, If it would work it would be a very fit. I would not recommended it.

Q: 9. is it compatible with Paul C buff?

A: Yes, The system is designed based on a Balcar mounting systyem that covers White Lighting, Einstein and Alien Bee models.

Q: 10. Can someone expand on the reasoning behind the limitation of strobes up to 600Ws (with the modeling light off) or COB LEDs up to 100W? What happens if you use a Siros light at 800Ws? Can the unit be damaged or will the lighting effect start to fall apart?

A: Strobes do heat up. Over 600 watts the heat produced can be too much using Westcott Optical Spot by Lindsay Adler for Broncolor. And can damage a light. Best is to either not use full power and not go over 600 watts. Or just shoot slow so the heat can dissipate if you are shooting more than 600 watts.
