According to Canon, their waterproof housings are designed for specific cameras for their exact size and button configuration, and their underwater cases are only designed for Canon cameras that have automatic settings for taking pictures underwater. While the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II Digital Camera has an Underwater Mode and the Underwater Macro Mode, the Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark III does not have these settings, and does not have an underwater housing designed for the camera.
