A: As long as you have adequate support from above yes. I would look to anchor all four of the bolt holes into something very solid like a floor joist from the floor above. Be careful about finding a mounting surface that will provide adequate width so that you anchor all 4 corners using the provided holes. I would not bolt this to a drywall ceiling and attach anything weighing more than a few pounds to it. If you bolt this to the ceiling then you should also consider what you are going to attach to the pin and ensure that you can grip that pin firmly enough that it can hang upside-down with all of the weight trying to pull away form the pin.
