The natural 1.75mm Ultra-Strong Pearl PLA from FlashForge is a high-gloss PLA and polyester blend filament designed to produce high-quality models with a silky pearl finish. Due to the added polyester, it is much less brittle than PLA. Pearl also maintains several of PLA's unique and desirable printing qualities such as low odor, high detail, and low warpage. This 1.75mm filament operates at print speeds ranging from 60 to 90mm/s and printing temperatures of 374 to 428°F.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a DSLR camera. What other accessories would I need to buy to connect the lights in a studio lighting kit to my camera (to bridge the gap between camera and lighting equipment)?

A: Being that these are continuous lights (as opposed to a strobe/flash) there is no direct connection or cables needed to connect them to the camera. It would be the same concept as shooting indoors under whatever available lights you have or outdoors under the sun.

Q: 2. will this currently or with firmware upgrade encode .265?

A: The Epiphan Pearl Nano Streamer & Recorder with a firmware update can work in encode .265.

Q: 3. Does this unit support Embedded Closed Captions?

A: At this time the Epiphan Pearl Nano Streamer & Recorder does not support closed caption metadata information.

Q: 4. Can this unit be powered by a V-Mount Battery ?

A: It can be but it is not designed to. You would have to find or make a D-tap adapter that can connect to the !2 VDC input on the Epiphan Pearl.

Q: 5. I received this kit today in Australia. When I switch on the light, it was short-circuit. As I know, the voltage in Australia is 240V which is match with the voltage of this light. Can you tell me why this happened? How can I fix this problem?

A: While the Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 is compatible for use with 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, as we are located in the United States, the 12 x Eiko - SP27/50K Spiral Fluorescent Lamp (26W/120V) listed as included under the In The Box tab on our website are designed for use on 120V circuitry. When purchasing lighting equipment for use internationally, you have to ensure that both the fixture and the bulbs are compatible for use on the voltage used in your country. While we do not have a specific Impact Soft n' Natural Kit #4 that includes 220-240V bulbs, you may either purchase the Lowel 25 Watt Ego Fluorescent Bulb (220-240V AC), B&H # LOLE127E (which are the only 220-240V spiral fluorescent bulbs of this wattage which we carry), or you may look for similar options locally in your country.

Q: 6. Is this kit good for vedio or stills only?

A: These lights are continuous and can be used for video or still photography equally.

Q: 7. How do I edit the audio and video on this box?

A: This does not support video/audio editing. You can stream the video to a computer or record to an SD card, download that to a computer and edit from there.

Q: 8. How loud is this unit?

A: With the size of the device and metal housing, the fan noise should be negligible.

Q: 9. The Preowned Condition #10 unit says includes original box. Does it carry the original factory warranty or any other assurances?

A: The B&H used Epiphan Pearl-2 Used Cat #2197068 comes with our 30 day return period, so you have time to test your gear purchase. Our USED DEPT also includes a 90 day warranty with this purchase.

Q: 10. Can the 4-socket rectangular softbox fixture take 47w bulbs?

A: The manual states: ...uses Edison-base compact fluorescent lamps (CFL) up to 105W per socket. I have yet to try this much wattage draw, but it certainly states that your desire to use 47W bulbs should be within specs. Lynn Brown

Bought these to store my B&W and C41 Chemicals, and they do that job very well. Completely leak free, and well sized for storage.

Fits 1L of chemical just fine - probably won't store different chemicals after each other in the same bottle because of potential permeability of the plastic (unlike glass) but suits my needs
