Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this receiver interchangeable with the transmitters from the USB-C receiver kit?

A: Yes, as long as the model is the same.

Q: 2. If I connect this to a MacBook Pro, will I be use my existing Blink system that I use on my iPhone?

A: Yes, I use my Blink500RXUC with my MacBook Pro all the time. All you need to do is pair your transmitters to the Blink500RXUC and you are ready to go.

Q: 3. Can two receivers pair to the same transmitter to be used for monitoring?

A: No, the transmitters can only be paired to one receiver. That is the nature of these 2.4 GHz systems unfortunately. The best way to monitor audio is through the camera's headphone output. If you are using a mobile device, you can monitor audio using Bluetooth headphones with some apps like Filmic Pro.

Q: 4. The lightning jack looks almost flush with the bottom of the receiver. Will the Comica receiver fit on an iPhone 11 that has a case on it? Does the case need to be removed in order for the lightning connector to connect properly? The case spec says it adds 3.5 mm to the phone.

A: You will most likely need to remove the case to use the Comica Boom X

Q: 5. Can this be used with the new Blink 500 Pro?

A: No. The Blink Pro uses different technology/algorithm.

Q: 6. If I get a version with 1 transmitter, is there gonna be a charging box included?

A: No, the charging case is not include with the single-transmitter Godox MoveLink II M1 Compact Wireless Microphone System. This system comes with two USB-C cables which can be used for charging the transmitter and receiver.

Q: 7. Why cant i get the RXDi reciever to light up and activate on my iphone?

A: The LED on the Saramonic Blink 500 RXDi Dual-Channel Digital Wireless Receiver for Lightning iOS Devices will remain dim when the receiver is initially connected to the iPhone and it will light up once the transmitter is paired and powered on, and an application is launched that uses audio from the external microphone, such as the native voice memos recording app or the camera app.

Q: 8. Does this record the two tracks in stereo or mono?

A: The Godox MoveLink Mini UC allows for recording in stereo or dual-mono. Meaning that in stereo, you will have one voice on the left side and the other on the right side. In dual-mono, you will be able to hear both voices on both sides.

Q: 9. Is this compatible with the first generation of Godox MoveLink TX 2.4G Wireless Microphone Receiver?

A: The Godox MoveLink II Clip-On Wireless Microphone Transmitter is designed for MoveLink II Wireless Systems only, and Godox has not stated that it is compatible with the first generation of receivers.

Q: 10. Can one transmitter be paired with two receivers for audio monitoring?

A: No, the Saramonic Blink 500 RX Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Digital Wireless Receiver (2.4 GHz) can only be paired to one receiver.

As I put together my YT videos I could hear the difference between smartphone, camera and digital recorder. I wanted a wireless unit, but they were either too expensive or complicated for my needs. A co-worker saw a news crew using Hollyland Lark M2 and mentioned it. I read the sponsored reviews and they seemed too optimistic. I decided to give it a try and indeed it is an amazing product for the cost. No channel assignments, nothing to dial in, no buttons to push. The mics auto pairs to the receiver so it doesn't matter which you grab. Receiver can be used to feed camera or any other device with mini audio port.
Con: Mics are omni, no audio metering, no indicator for stereo/mono, online app is worthless.
I would highly recommend this unit if you are looking to capture clean consistent audio with little effort and at reasonable price.

The Lark M2 Duo is an incredible setup! Great sound from tiny mic buttons that you can hide easily, clip on magnetically or with little alligator clips (also magnetic), very good noise cancellation in two strengths , plug-and-play with no pairing or hassle with iPhone or Android. Charging case keeps the whole kit charged. Great range too. Plugs into your camera for stereo or mono recording from the two mics. Can’t say enough good things about this set. I love them!
