High-quality preamplifiers with phantom power, inspired by the E-Series mixers, offer high-quality sound and dynamics. Line-level signals are less noisy when connected using the separate line input jack sockets.

The F-24XR features 3-band EQ on the mono channels, and 3-band EQ on stereo channels for transparent sound shaping.

The F-Series compressor offers transparent limiting for the dynamic range of instruments and voices.

RCF has selected 16 studio-quality effects designed for everyday use when you need great quality FX processing without the need of an external FX unit. You'll find Reverbs (halls, rooms, plates, spring), Delays (mono, stereo, and multi-tap), Chorus, Flanger, and Echo.

Record directly to your computer. No need for external interfaces or multiple connections and levels to check. Just plug in a USB lead to a PC or to your iPhone / iPad (2 or later) using Apple's Camera Connection Kit / Lightning-to-USB Camera Adapter. Select the USB routing and you'll have CD-quality recording and stereo playback, effortlessly. The class-compliant design allows recording and playback from Windows, MacOs, and iOS (through USB adapter) without any additional software.

Q: 5. what are the optimum settings for clean sound and volume? I get confused between GAIN and LEVEL. Also should MASTER GAIN slides be set to upper levels?

A: The Pyle Pro PMX462 3-Channel Audio Mixer with Built-In FX and USB Interface is versatile and easy to use, and features a clearly labeled set of controls. The Gain controls on Channels 1, 2, and 3 are used to adjust the input gain level for individual devices connected to these channels. Likewise, the individual Level controls for these channels adjust the output level for that corresponding input channel. The Main level fader is a master control for the overall mix. The optimum settings for a clean sound will vary depending on the particular devices that are connected to the input channels. Each individual channel has its own red Peak LED indicator light next to the channel's Level control knob to show when the level for that channel is very high. Additionally, the 5-stage LED Level indicator panel provide a more detailed view with green, yellow, and red LEDs. For cleaner sounds, you will want to keep the levels within the green and yellow indicators and avoid peaking, where the indicators becoming red.

Q: 6. how do you connect the MG12XU to a receiver and 4 speakers ?

A: You can use the two XLR Stereo outputs and the two Stereo outputs to plug into your speakers left and right. Assuming they are active speakers and accept XLR and inputs. You will find these outputs in the far right at the top of the mixer.

A: Yep. Every channel is individually adjustable for volume including anything coming in from the computer or mic.

Q: 9. Can the Yamaha mg12xu handle 250 ohms?

A: In order to answer your question about whether the Yamaha MG12XU Mixer can handle 250 ohms, it would be helpful to know what you will be connecting. Q: 10. Will this mixer power high impedance headphones such as the sennheiser hd650's ?

A: The headphone output on the Yamaha MG10XU will cater to headphones with a nominal impedance of 40 ohms. Because the HD650's are 300 ohms, the use of an external headphone amplifier will be beneficial and recommended.

I have the older version but for what ever reason it stopped working. I got this as a replacement. So far it's do the job of the older model I just wish the USB ports were in the rear back of the device.
